The Nautilus Maldives ranks sixth among Indian Ocean resorts in Condé Nast Traveller awards

The Nautilus Maldives has secured sixth place among the best resorts in the Indian Ocean in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards, receiving a reader satisfaction score of 99.06.

The annual awards recognise leading travel destinations and hospitality experiences based on votes from the publication's readers. The results were announced on 6 October 2026.

Located in Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, The Nautilus is a private island resort featuring 26 beach and ocean houses and residences. The property offers personalised hospitality, with dedicated House Masters who coordinate experiences according to individual guest preferences.

Philippe Cavory, General Manager of The Nautilus Maldives, said the recognition was particularly meaningful because it reflected the experiences of guests who had stayed at the resort.

He attributed the achievement to the relationships developed between guests and the resort's team, highlighting the property's emphasis on personalised service and flexibility.

The latest recognition adds to The Nautilus's achievements in 2026, including receiving Two MICHELIN Keys and being featured in Condé Nast Traveler's Gold List 2026.

The Readers’ Choice Awards are among Condé Nast Traveller's annual recognitions of destinations, resorts and travel experiences, reflecting the preferences and satisfaction of its readership.
