The Nautilus Maldives to host award-winning pastry chef Elena Nabiullina in November

The Nautilus Maldives will welcome award-winning pastry chef Elena Nabiullina for a culinary residency from 7 to 12 November 2026, offering guests the opportunity to explore contemporary pâtisserie through interactive experiences and signature desserts.

The residency forms part of the resort's Masters for Masters series, which brings accomplished professionals from various creative fields to share their expertise with guests.

A highlight of the programme will be a dessert masterclass on 8 November, during which Nabiullina will demonstrate techniques and share the inspiration behind her signature CREAMO cookies.

Throughout the residency, guests staying at the resort will also receive her signature Bublik, a ring-shaped dessert accompanied by a specially designed card explaining the story behind its creation.

Nabiullina, who was named Pastry Chef of the Year 2024 by WHERETOEAT, is the founder of CREAMO, an artisanal gelato brand. She has contributed to more than 14 restaurant openings and previously served as pastry chef at Café Garage at the Garage Museum.

Her professional journey began after a career in industrial and civil construction. She subsequently trained at the Ragout School and interned at Akrame in Paris, further developing her skills through specialist training with internationally recognised pastry chefs, including Cédric Grolet, Ramon Morato and Jordi Bordas.

Located in Baa Atoll, The Nautilus Maldives features 26 beach and ocean houses and residences, with an emphasis on personalised hospitality and flexible dining experiences.

The upcoming residency will further expand the resort's culinary offerings, providing guests with an opportunity to learn directly from an internationally recognised pastry chef.
