Coco Bodu Hithi has announced its festive programme, Island Glow: Moments Made to Remember, featuring dining experiences, live entertainment, marine activities and wellness offerings from 22 December 2026 to 7 January 2027.
The celebrations will begin with the resort’s annual festive tree-lighting ceremony, accompanied by live music and a celebratory toast. The programme will combine traditional festivities with Maldivian cultural experiences, including local handicraft workshops, coral planting and traditional performances.
A special gala dinner on 24 December will feature live entertainment, followed by a day of family celebrations, including brunch and an evening highlighting Maldivian cuisine and culture.
Throughout the festive period, guests can participate in a range of activities, including snorkelling, sandbank excursions, underwater photography, sushi-making classes, cooking workshops and sunset cruises.
Families can explore the resort’s house reef and take part in cooking activities, while younger guests will have access to nature walks, marine-themed crafts, movie screenings and karaoke.
Wellness experiences will also feature in the programme, with Coco Spa offering coconut-infused treatments, Ayurvedic therapies and couples’ rituals.
New Year’s Eve celebrations will begin with a sunset cruise, followed by a gala dinner, live performances, DJ entertainment and a festive raffle draw ahead of the midnight countdown.
The programme will continue into January, concluding on 7 January with a beachfront barbecue and live entertainment.
Located in North Malé Atoll, Coco Bodu Hithi is part of Coco Collection. The resort has received recognition at the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence, winning Best Service in 2025 and Best Waterside Hotel in 2026.
