Finolhu, a Seaside Collection Resort, has announced its festive programme, Magic by the Sea, featuring culinary experiences, live entertainment, creative workshops and family activities from 21 December 2026 through early January 2027.
Located in Baa Atoll's UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the resort will host a series of celebrations combining festive traditions with contemporary entertainment and island experiences.
The programme will begin with a festive tree-lighting ceremony, followed by special dining experiences and a New Year's Eve gala.
A major highlight will be live performances by the international entertainment group Goldsingers, alongside a fireworks display to welcome 2027.
Dining will play a central role in the celebrations, with festive gala dinners, exclusive Anguru dining experiences, seafood specialities and beachfront gatherings. The programme follows Finolhu's recognition as Best Culinary Resort at the TTM Awards 2026.
Guests will also have opportunities to participate in creative activities through the resort's Art Lab, including pottery workshops organised in collaboration with Casa Adams, founded by ceramic artist Araceli Adams. Additional activities will include painting and craft workshops inspired by the island's natural surroundings.
For younger guests, the Oceaneers Club and Teens Hut will offer festive baking, treasure hunts, sporting activities, photography workshops and island adventures.
Marine experiences will include guided snorkelling sessions with the resort's marine biologist and educational activities focused on ocean conservation. Wellness offerings will feature sunrise yoga, meditation and other relaxation experiences.
Evening entertainment will continue throughout the festive period with beachfront gatherings, live music, DJ performances and the resort's signature White Parties.
The programme will take place against the backdrop of Finolhu's two-kilometre sandbank, bringing together festive entertainment, gastronomy and recreational activities for guests of all ages.
