Sun Siyam Vilu Reef is marking its 28th anniversary with the introduction of two new venues, YAYA Beach Club and Tuscany Italian Restaurant, alongside three days of music, culinary experiences and wellness activities from 28 to 30 October 2026.
Held under the theme A New Rhythm of the Reef, the celebrations will bring together international performers, visiting chefs and wellness practitioners, highlighting the resort's latest developments.
The programme will begin on 28 October with the official opening of YAYA Beach Club, a new beachfront venue offering music, casual dining and social gatherings. British-born DJ duo The Flag Twins, Kevin and Karl, will headline the opening celebrations alongside DJ Abee.
The same evening will see the unveiling of Tuscany, a new Italian restaurant focusing on traditional Tuscan flavours and contemporary Mediterranean cuisine. The opening dinner will be hosted by visiting chef Fatjon Goga, who currently leads Osteria Grande in Arezzo, Italy.
Chinese vocalist Zhu Zhihao will also perform during the opening celebrations, while DJ Molly will provide evening entertainment.
On 29 October, the programme will shift towards wellness and culinary experiences, including sound-healing sessions led by Nour Montasser and slow-living activities with Maryna Pavlenko. Chef Goga will host an interactive pasta masterclass and dinner at Tuscany.
The final day will feature yoga, sound healing and stand-up paddleboard yoga on the lagoon, followed by live music, a pool party at YAYA Beach Club and a concluding culinary experience at Tuscany.
The two new venues form part of the resort's ongoing development, following the introduction of new villas earlier this year.
Opened in 1998 as the first resort in the Sun Siyam portfolio, Vilu Reef has been welcoming guests for nearly three decades. The latest additions expand its dining and entertainment offerings while marking a new chapter in the resort's development.
