Alila Kothaifaru Expands Offering with Multi-Bedroom Villas Targeting Group Travel

Alila Kothaifaru Maldives has introduced a new category of multi-bedroom villas, reflecting growing demand for group travel and multi-generational holiday experiences.

The new Two-Bedroom Beach Pool Villas and the Boduge Residence are designed to function as fully integrated living spaces, combining private retreats with shared social areas. The villas feature expansive outdoor decks, private pools and dedicated dining spaces, allowing guests to tailor their stay around group interaction.

A key feature of the development is the emphasis on flexibility and personalisation. Bedroom configurations include both king and twin options, making the villas suitable for families with children, groups of friends and mixed-age travellers. The Boduge Residence also offers connectivity with a neighbouring villa, enabling a larger three-bedroom setup.

Each villa is supported by a dedicated host service, ensuring seamless coordination of activities, dining and guest requests. This level of service is intended to reduce logistical complexity and enhance the overall guest experience, particularly for larger groups.

The design follows Alila’s eco-minimalist philosophy, with open-plan layouts, natural materials and seamless indoor-outdoor transitions. The approach prioritises both privacy and connection, allowing guests to move between shared and individual spaces throughout their stay.

The introduction of these villas comes as travel trends increasingly favour longer stays, family travel and experiential group holidays. By expanding its accommodation offering, Alila Kothaifaru is positioning itself to capture this growing segment within the Maldives tourism market.
