Reethi Faru Resort marked Earth Hour 2026 with a series of sustainability-focused activities involving both guests and staff.
The programme included coral planting initiatives aimed at supporting reef preservation, as well as a symbolic beach display marking the 60 minutes of Earth Hour.
During the designated hour, lights were dimmed and non-essential equipment switched off to reduce energy consumption, while maintaining essential services for guests.
The event concluded with a low-key beach gathering, reinforcing the message of environmental responsibility.
The activities form part of the resort’s ongoing efforts to integrate sustainable practices into its operations and raise awareness among guests and the local community.
